United Water Jersey City - Troy Street Pumping Station

BS&J completed the final design for the rehabilitation of three existing 6 MGD horizontal pumping units at the Jersey City MUA's Troy Street Pumping Station. The rehabilitation of the pumping units includes the addition of three new variable frequency drives (VFDs), one for each of the pumps, replacing the two existing VFDs which are presently switchable among the three existing pumping units.
