United Water Lambertville - Dam Nos. 1 and 2

BS&J completed the design and permitting for the rehabilitaion of Dam No. 2 and the removal of Dam No. 1, and provided engineering services during construction which is nearing completion. BS&J prepared an alternatives analysis for improvements to these two dams impounding reservoirs for the water supply for Lambertville, NJ on Swan Creek near the confluence with the Delaware River. Previously, BS&J completed updating the hydrology and hydraulic modeling. BS&J also completed a regular inspection of these two dams in November 2003. BS&J prepared Operation and Maintenance Manuals (OMMs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) including electronic versions of the EAPs and inundation mapping. BS&J continues to update these two documents.
