Posted on: December 1, 2014

Buck, Seifert & Jost, Inc. assisted United Water Lambertville with the addition of sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid to be used to generate chlorine dioxide, replacing a gaseous chlorine system. BS&J’s work included design, permitting with both the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and City of West Amwell, and engineering services during construction. The construction completed by J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. included an addition to the existing treatment building to contain the new storage tanks, construction of a chemical fill station capable of receiving mini-bulk chemical deliveries, modifications to the existing on site chlorine dioxide generation system to the point of application for water treatment, and building addition to existing plumbing and electrical systems.
